Each team is allowed to trade any players and draft picks of the following season, subject to league votes.
Draft picks that are tradable are from the 1st round to the 3rd round.
Each trade will last for 2 days during the regular season.
Every veto on all trades needs to have reasons as to why you, as a manager, thinks it needs to be vetoed.
During the offseason:
A minimum of 3 vetoes will automatically cancel a trade.
Each trade will last for 2 days for the entire league to veto it if necessary.
A trade that lasted more than 2 days and hasn't garner atleast 3 vetoes will automatically be approved.
You are also free to trade away not just the draft picks for the next season but also the draft picks for any year thereafter.
You're also allowed to set limitations (protections) on the draft pick, just like the regular NBA trades.
Example:
I'll trade my 1st round draft pick for 2017 top 3 protected.
This means that if I'll be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd pick on 2017, then I'll be keeping the said pick and you'll instead receive the 2018 1st round pick instead.
This way, we as a manager, will really be managing a team in which we'll have to take account the future of the team whenever we will make any trades, acquisition of free agents and/or drafting a player.
The bottom line is to make this league as real as possible, and will show who among us is a better General Manager.
